Dear trusted friends and supporters,
Last November, I wrote to you about the growth of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, my personal plans for the future, and my ongoing commitment to ensuring that our organization remains as strong as ever. Since then, we have adopted a robust strategic plan, begun preparing for a Major Gifts campaign, and continued to strengthen our senior leadership team.
The next step in our multi-year plan is to begin the search for a new Executive Director. To be clear, I will remain Executive Director to help ensure a seamless transition. The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County Board and I agree that we should begin a thoughtful search now and allow time for a new leader to work alongside me during a meaningful and well-defined transition period. We have incorporated this timeline into the strategic plan to ensure Legal Aid’s continued strength and stability. This transition process will be deliberately gradual and will allow stakeholders to provide strategic input.
The Executive Director job description is posted here on our website. Please feel free to share it with anyone you believe may be well suited for the role.
As I look ahead, I am filled with pride and hope. Having dedicated my career to Legal Aid’s mission, our Major Gifts campaign is especially meaningful to me—not as an endpoint, but as an opportunity to build on years of shared dedication and help lay the foundation for Legal Aid’s continued stability, growth, and service to those who need us most.
Your continued support and partnership remain essential to our success. Together, we will remain well positioned to deliver on our mission of providing equal justice for all.
Warm regards,
Bob
