Campaign for Equal Justice
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County is the designated agency for administering Florida’s Pro Bono Plan. Rules Regulating the Florida Bar describe lawyers’ professional responsibility for pro bono service as being an annual gift of at least $350 to a legal aid organization or 20 hours of pro bono legal service to the poor. This minimum was set over 35 years ago and has never been raised. Due to rising costs, we hope you will consider a minimum gift of $500.
