Education Advocacy Project

Overview

The Education Advocacy Project (EAP) provides advice and legal representation in education matters for low-income parents, caregivers, and students. EAP provides assistance in civil education matters.

When a disagreement with a school arises, the dispute can often be worked out easily. If your concerns are not resolved, you may have a right to challenge the school’s decision.

EAP advises parents and caregivers about their legal rights concerning education. We will help parents and guardians in obtaining needed educational services and testing, through requesting and reviewing educational records, attending school meetings, and advocating for available remedies.
