Legal Aid Society Celebrates Justice for All with Record-Breaking Gala
West Palm Beach, FL – On Saturday, May 10, 2025, The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County hosted its “Justice For All Celebration” at the Kravis Center, welcoming 500 guests to an evening themed “Legal Aid in Bloom.” The successful event raised over $520,000, which will directly support Legal Aid’s 21 programs dedicated to serving low-income and vulnerable residents in the community.
The gala honored individuals and organizations for their exceptional commitment to equal justice.
- The firm McDonald Hopkins received the “And Justice for All” award for their extensive pro bono work on behalf of Legal Aid clients. WATCH AWARD VIDEO
- Robert M.W. Shalhoub ESQ. was presented with the “Suzanne and John Foley Serving Justice” Award, recognizing his long-standing dedication to Legal Aid’s mission. WATCH AWARD VIDEO
- The “Harreen Bertisch Children’s Advocacy Award” was given to Danielle H. Moore for her impactful work in improving the lives of children in Palm Beach County. WATCH AWARD VIDEO
The evening was expertly chaired by Amy and Jeff Devore alongside Michelle and Judge Scott Suskauer. A powerful “Call to the Heart” to raise unrestricted funds for Legal Aid’s programs was led by Retired Justice Barbara Pariente and Jack Scarola, Esq.
The event’s success was also made possible by many generous sponsors. Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley served as the Presenting Sponsor. The Premiere Sponsor was Justice Barbara J. Pariente & Judge Fred Hazouri, with Smith, Ball, Baez & Prather Injury Lawyers as the Signature Sponsors.
