31st Annual Recognition Evening

The 31st Annual Recognition Evening was held on June 8, 2019, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The event, co-sponsored by The Florida Supreme Court Historical Society, honored retired Justice Barbara J. Pariente’s stellar career on the Florida Supreme Court and the Fourth District Court of Appeal, as well as her passionate commitment to a fair and impartial judiciary, her dedication to access to justice for all Floridians and her leadership in promoting the multiple ways lawyers and judges can protect Florida’s most vulnerable children.

GL Homes received the Suzanne Foley “Serving Justice Award” for their unwavering support of Legal Aid’s Guardian Advocacy Project. This program provides a full range of guardianship and legal case management services for young adults with special needs and/or developmental disabilities, who are aging out of foster care without family or friends to care for them. This program strives to maximize these young people’s independence while helping them remain in the least restrictive home-based environment.

The evening also featured a wonderful performance by the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, our one-of-a-kind auction and dinner and dancing!
