Legal Aid Society’s 10th Annual Cup of Justice Golf Classic
Raises $40,000 for Educational Advocacy Project

The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County’s 10th Annual Cup of Justice Golf Classic raised $40,000 to support its Educational Advocacy Project. The project’s mission is to ensure positive educational outcomes for disabled children attending Palm Beach County schools.

Attorney Robert Shalhoub chaired the October 11th tournament at Bear Lakes Country Club. The presenting sponsor of the event was Sabadell United Bank.

The luncheon sponsor was Florida Crystals and the dinner sponsorship was shared by the accounting firm of Caler, Donten, Levine, Porter & Veil, P.A. and the Law Offices of James A. Bonfiglio, P.A. Other major sponsors included: City Place Tower; Daily Business Review; Moore, Ellrich & Neal, P.A.; Palm Beach Kennel Club; Schwed & Knight, P.A.; and Akerman Senterfitt.

The accounting firm of Moore, Ellrich & Neal, P.A., was awarded the “Cup of Justice” after an outstanding round of golf. Other winners included City Place Towers (Flight A—1st Place); Moore Ellrich & Neal (Flight B—1st Place); McDonald Hopkins, LLP (Flight C—1st Place).

Other contest winners included Keith Austin (Closet to the Pin); Chris Wintering (Longest Ladies’ Drive) and Keith Gardere (Longest Men’s Drive).
