Andrew Batog & Rachel Bentley

January 23, 2017 - The two Staff Attorneys for the Consumer Advocacy Project are Andrew Batog and Rachel Bentley.  Andrew has been practicing law for six years, primarily in the areas of consumer debt, bankruptcy and foreclosure defense.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and law degree from Barry University School of Law.  He and his wife Minhnhat live in West Palm Beach with their daughter Livia.

Rachel Bentley grew up in South Florida and went to Florida State University for undergraduate and to Florida International University for law school. Prior to working at Legal Aid she practiced mortgage foreclosure defense and consumer law in private practice.   She started her career at Legal Aid in February 2016 as the Mortgage Foreclosure Defense Project Staff Attorney before moving into the Consumer Advocacy Project.  Rachel and her fiancé, David, live in West Palm Beach with their rescue puppy Lucy and will be getting married in April.
